Breaking News -- Gov. Christie says aide misled him over N.J. bridge lane closings

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has issued a statement on the controversial closure of access lanes to the George Washington Bridge, saying he is "outraged and deeply saddened to learn that not only was I misled by a member of my staff, but this completely inappropriate and unsanctioned conduct was made without my knowledge." The shutdown, which caused a massive gridlock in the town of Fort Lee at the base of the bridge, tied up traffic for several days and lawmakers are probing whether it was an act of political retribution.
