Speaker:
Lee Little has over 25 years of experience in the development, implementation and management of Health and Safety Systems and Risk Management Programs for the public and private sector, in various industries. Lee has worked as an Adjunct Instructor for Texas A&M TEEX for over 6 years training and developing safety professionals from across the country. Lee also works as a Claims Adjuster and trainer for a fortune 150 Financial Services Institution.

Lee has instituted the effective development and management of various safety initiatives resulting in a reduction in direct Workers' Compensation cost from $1.7 million per year to approximately $500,000 per year. He has managed varying sizes of industrial health and safety programs covering as many as 5,500 employees and up to 500 commercial vehicles. Developed and implemented Health and Safety programs to include: Hearing Conservation to Hazard Communication; Respiratory protection to Permit Required Confined Space Entry; and from Driver/Fleet Safety to Accident Investigation.

While serving in the military Lee was recognized by the Air Force Office of the Inspector General (IG) for his management of a Safety and Health program that was rated outstanding by the IG team. Lee has effectively implemented safety systems and worked closely with the State to facilitate the removal of an employer from the Extra-Hazardous Employer designation listing. Lee served as Chairman and coordinated the development of an effective employed based Accident Review Board (ARB) and Safety Selection Committee. Lee has been a speaker on the subject is safety at various industry conferences - APWA - American Public Works Association; TPWA - Texas Public Works Association; Texas Chapter of
the National Safety Council; and the Region VI VPPPA Conference.

Lee is a Certified Corporate Trainer and All Lines Insurance Adjuster. He has a Bachelors degree in Occupational Education and is pursuing his Masters degree in Organizational Development and Management.
