Overview:

The comfort of flame resistant (FR) garments has rapidly become a critical factor in a wearer's purchasing decision. You no longer have to sacrifice your FR PPE's protection against flame and arc hazards in order to be comfortable.

During this webinar we will explain the key attributes and factors which influence garment comfort including: moisture management, fabric hand, and garment fit. We will explore how the body cools and regulates heat so you can better understand how a fabric and garment's design can impact your comfort. The presentation will also provide an overview of key industry measurement techniques, including a new state-of-the-art technology. With an understanding of how the body works and what comfort attributes to look for in a garment, you will be better educated and prepared in making your next FR garment purchase.

Speaker:
Joel Denardis – North American Sales Technical Manager

Joel DeNardis is the DuPont North America FR Technical Sales Manager. He has been with DuPont for over 10 years, having roles in technical, operations management, and sales. Joel has experience managing and working in high hazard processes such as DuPont™ Nomex® and Kevlar®, providing valuable hands-on knowledge with both fire and arc personal protective equipment.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and has a Master's degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Richmond.
