Washington DC to Improve Water Efficiency and Management

DC Water, in association with the Washington Aqueduct, is employing the help of Veolia to implement operational and process improvements at the Washington Aqueduct, a federally-owned and operated public water supply agency that delivers water to DC Water, Arlington County and Fairfax Water. The Washington Aqueduct's funding for operations, maintenance and capital improvements come from revenue generated by the sale of drinking water to those three entities.

Nordic Region to Receive Water Treatment Products

GE has announced that the Swedish company WIBAX Energy AB, part of the WIBAX Group, will distribute GE's water technologies in the Nordic region. The distribution agreement, which started on May 1, 2014, combines WIBAX's local expertise and GE's advanced technologies to create greater access to innovative water and process solutions in the Nordic region. The distribution agreement will cover Denmark, Sweden, Norwa and Finland.
