Airtel Nigeria has just passed a warning message to its subscribers and I received mine on my device and will just like to let those who haven't received theirs to be aware.

According to Airtel Nigeria,

Please be informed that there will be a system upgrade from 12am 30th September to am October 1st, 2013. You may experience inability to use Airtel Data Services

Solution To Using MTN BIS With Tunnelguru

I have been getting messages from people asking how else they can browse with BIS on their PC especially after the shutdown of the internet surfing with VPNs by many telecommunication companies.

It hasn't really been easy because I think this telecommunication guys are now employing goons to stop every form of Nigerians wrecking the servers with all the free internet browsing being spread everywhere.

So in my words, if you see a cheat here on wesaytech, there is no harm in trying it as it may have been re activated unkowingly while they are still trying to stop other free browsing means. At same time, one tweak might work today and not work tomorrow!

So try to keep up with my blog to when something is working and when its not.

In today's post, I intend sharing with you a solution to using your MTN BIS with Tunnelguru

If you noticed, MTN BIS is no longer working on UDP port 500. But the good news is that if your vpn supports ICMP port, your are still good to go.

New Way To Use MTN BIS With Tunnelguru

==> [ Only For Tunnelguru users with MTN BIS]
Just change your connection settings from UDP to ICMP and connect.
MTN BIS users using ICMP ( Mode-2).
If you are using Tunnel guru on PC, change your protocol settings from UDP to ICMP and connect.

Note For Tunnelguru users with MTN BIS On PC

MTN BIS users using ICMP ( Mode-2). For high Speed, Stable Connection, make sure you go on to disable all Antiviruses and Firewalls if Tunnelguru is installed on PC.

For Android Smartphone users using Droid vpn on their device

Change your connection protocol from UDP to ICMP and continue to surf the net. This works on only rooted android devices

For Slow/ Unstable Connection.

Try Reinstalling TUN TAP Driver once in a week: Run it as Admin and Restart PC. \TGv2.3.0.0_WIN_xBit\misc\driver\install-RUN-AS- ADMIN.bat

For PD Proxy Users With MTN BIS Service

ICMP also allows you surf the net with full time speed. Remember that if you want to download bulk files, always use BBCday.
